(AllHipHop News) It seems like Donald Glover never stops creating content. Less than a week after the Atlanta actor’s Guava Island debuted on Amazon Prime, he’s back with a five-part film series.

The Ibra Ake-directed visual presentation was conceived for adidas Originals. In this one, Glover (aka Childish Gambino) shares screen time with Oscar winner Mo’nique. Odd Future affiliate Na-Kel Smith also makes a cameo.

Each segment displays the forthcoming DG/adidas collection which includes re-imagined Lacombe, Nizza, and Continental 80 styles. The concept of the vignettes is to show that the worn shoes are not “dirty” but actually serve as a reflection of an individual’s personal experience.

“Rich is a concept,” said Glover in a statement. “With this project, I wanted to encourage people to think about how their stories can be told on their feet. Value isn’t quantified by what you wear, rather the experiences from them. And you make the decision on what works for you, you live through your own lens. The partnership for me is about being able to exemplify what doing your own thing truly looks and feels like.”

The “Donald Glover Presents” sneakers will be available for purchase on April 26. Previously, Glover released an addendum to his “Feels Like Summer” music video which doubled as an announcement for his collaboration with the German sportswear brand.

“Our partnerships are built on a foundation of creating moments of inspiration that we could not achieve alone,” explained Chris Law, Senior Design Director of adidas Originals. “As a visionary, we admire Glover’s capability to surpass ‘genres’ and uniquely tell a story. From a design perspective, we drove the aesthetic of this collection based on adidas’ rich history in classic sneakers and Glover’s philosophy of understated points of interest and appreciation for how shoes evolve with wear, expressing more personality over time. Between Glover’s artistic vision and our expertise, we will continue to evolve and look forward to where that takes us.”
