Platinum-selling producer WondaGurl has officially joined Travis Scott‘s Cactus Jack imprint under a joint publishing deal with Sony/ATV.

The Canada native got her start working with fellow Canadian producer Boi-1da and met Scott early on in her career. In fact, WondaGurl’s first production credit was on the Houston rapper’s track “Uptown” off his 2013 debut mixtape, Owl Pharaoh. She also produced one of his early monster hits, “Antidote.”

In a press release Monday (July 20), the producer expressed her excitement over the new deal and revealed plans to take on a leadership role as well.

“I’m excited to work with everybody at Sony/ATV and Cactus Jack, both as a producer and executive,” she said.

Cactus Jack Publishing’s GM David Stromberg also expressed the label’s excitement.

“The Cactus Jack team looks forward to powering the next phase of WondaGurl’s incredible career through this publishing venture,” he said. “She is truly one of the most dynamic young talents in music today.”

Production credits for WondaGurl read like a who’s who in music, having made tracks for the likes of JAY-Z, Drake, Rihanna, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, Mariah Carey, 2 Chainz and many more. Most recently the 23-year-old musician worked on Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut album, Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, via the Quavo-assisted “Aim For The Moon.”

The album was released on July 2, with a deluxe version following just a few weeks later on what would have been Pop’s 21st birthday, July 20. Other producers on the project include Mustard, 808Melo, Buddah Bless, CashMoneyAP and more. Revisit the album below.
