Play & Neems pick up where they left off, grabbing Juelz Santana to help demolish some AraabMUZIK production on “Why Lie.”

AraabMUZIK, Plays, and Neem have been working to bring their new collaborative project Tones to life. A few weeks ago, the trio joined forces with Griselda to deliver the Conway-assisted “Take Off.” Now, they’re keeping the ball rolling with another new single, uniting with an equally grimy lyricist — the Dipset veteran Juelz Santana. On “Why Lie,” AraabMUZIK makes sure to turn the volume up with force, conjuring a bombastic and brass-driven instrumental, one that all but invites contributors to flex like they’ve never flexed before.

“Gettin’ money n***a why lie,” spits Juelz, holding it down with the second verse. “Foreign cars when we drive by, all this weed got me sky-high, so connected n***a wi-fi.” Confidently declaring the I-95 to be his nine-to-five, Juelz’ reputation speaks for itself as he slides over Araab’s production. Already boasting a solid two-for-two with the singles, it’s likely that Neem, Plays, and AraabMUZIK are about to drop off a problem, one that’s set to appear in full on June 19th.
