Dame Dash has been working a lot more in the film industry lately. The music mogul was hit with a lawsuit earlier this year after publicly claiming he was part of a film after he was dropped from the project, although he did work on the movie. A judge ordered an injunction against Dash stopping him from promoting the project publicly. According to documents obtained by The Blast, he gave an argument for his case, saying that he was key factor in the success of several elite entertainers.

Dame Dash gave a break down of some of the highlights in his resume. He mentioned that he co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records with Jay-Z and Kareem Burke. He also said that he was instrumental in Kanye West‘s success as he found, signed and launched the artist’s career. He also said that he put Kevin Hart in one of the actor’s first movies.

Josh Webber and Muddy Water Pictures sued Dame Dash for claiming he was still working on the movie “Dear Frank” after he was dismissed from the project. They alleged Dash was high on set which resulted in his removal. Webber then alleged that Dash sent out promo material for a film called “The List,” which was the original title of the film, to BET and made it seem like he was apart of it.

Webber sued for defamation and copyright infringement seeking unspecified damages plus an injunction against Dash.
