Blueface unexpected rise has now reach another plateau. As of Today, the Cali-bred rapper is now a member of the Billboard Top 20 club, after witnessing his “Thotiana” Remix with YG climb eight spots to grab the 20 spot on the list. What makes the distinction all the more remarkable is that 4 weeks ago, the single was perched at number 75, and about 4 months prior to that, the general hip-hop knew next to nothing about the Crip set claimant.

Much of Blueface’s appeal on social media, stems from an infectious “Bust Down” dance, which has been copied the World over. It’s even come to a point where the “Bust Down” lends itself to a dance challenge made out in its honor. The video for the song, submitted to Cole Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade, has already eclipsed the 19 million mark in views.

The YG-assisted remix was already well into rotation when Blueface announced supplemental additions to the song, that’ll be added in the coming days: French Montana and Cardi B on a remix to the remix, and the Nicki Minaj-version that aired on Queen Radio.
