Toni Braxton started the year off with a heartfelt note on Instagram detailing how she’s on a new chapter. “Starting a new chapter isn’t always an easy choice…but ALWAYS choose to be chosen. Cheers to a new year,” she wrote. The caption led many to believe that her engagement with Birdman was over and Toni previously discussed how Birdman was on her to pick a date for the wedding which put them “through a little drama.”

Just a few weeks later, it looks like the couple just can’t stay away from each other since Birdman was spotted last night In Atlanta, pulling a move very familiar to Offset where he just surprised Toni on stage. Toni embraced her ex with a long passionate hug (opposite of Cardi B‘s reaction to Offset) and then lead him offstage. Watch the video here.

We can’t say for sure what the status of Toni and Birdman’s relationship is now, but the surprise stage crash seemed to be well received.

“We almost had a date,” Toni previously told Wendy Williams. “Well, we had two dates. But we were doing Braxton Family Values and we were going through a little drama. And I was like, ‘The wedding is a good thing to get all the sisters together.’ [But] I couldn’t get us all together.”
