This past year had been eventful for Kehlani and the soon-to-be mother is keeping up the momentum for the new year. The singer highlighted some of her accomplishments in a note she posted to Instagram and announced that plans to release a new project in 2019. While expressing sincere gratitude, the artist shared her excitement with her social media following.”2018 was incredible,” she wrote on her Instagram. “I conquered so many fears, and tackled so many goals. I did my first fashion week, toured America, then Australia, then Asia.”

She continued by naming a few ventures that began last year. “I released an app with my friends @floralivingapp, and a podcast on Beats1. traveled to so many places i’d never dreamed of seeing in person, ” she added. “After all the touring i got home and started an album, which resulted in completing a mixtape in a month (all while pregnant as hell lmaoooo) that will be coming early next year.”

This news comes as a delight to her fans considering the imminent birth of her daughter whom she calls “biggest gift i ever prayed for.” Kehlani’s previous release was her debut album entitled SweetSexySavage which dropped in January 2017 and went on to earn gold certification.
