He was an early figure on the New Jack Swing era , grew up in Harlem,New York .

Today he’s 57 years old , he sure got a lot of ladies twisted during the late 80’s and the 90’s as well.

He worked with Snoop Dogg , Athena Cage and many other artists , appeared as a guest on  TV Sitcom “Martin” starring Martin Lawrence .

Got married to Lisa Wu in 1992 , they divorced in 2002

Together having 4 children : Jordan, Justin , Keyshia & Khia .

Back in the days was part of GQ (1997-2003) , and others like BMU (Black Men United) & LSG (Levert,Sweat,Gill) .

Keith Douglas Sweat (born July 22, 1961) is Also , songwriterrecord produceractorradio personality, and an early figure in the new jack swing musical movement. Sweat is perhaps best known for the singles: “Twisted“, “Nobody“, “Make It Last Forever” and “I’ll Give All My Love to You“.

In his early life , He worked as a night stock boy at Macy’s Department Store, and then a mail room clerk at Paine Webber, a brokerage firm. In just four years he worked his way up to a lucrative brokerage assistant job on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Sweat also worked as a supervisor for the New York Mercantile Exchange.
