Following the launch of the #PaperworkChallenge, Gucci Mane revealed that fans can expect an Icy Summer with his forthcoming project. The rapper announced his new project, So Icy Summer would be arriving on July 3rd but it seems the campaign to it is deeper than that. “So Icy Summer name of my new album dropping July 3rd announcing my new situation,” he said. This is in reference to a tweet he made a few weeks back railing against Atlantic Records. But earlier in the day, he also teased the idea of going independent.

“Gucci for President 2020 my slogan it got to be In you not on you #New1017#GucciGlobalAmbassador @gucci,” he wrote in a follow-up tweet. “It’s official I’m getting my own brand at @gucci I hope they ain’t lying.”

Looks like Gucci Mane has some heat to ride out to this summer. Keep your eyes peeled for his new album.
