Lloyd Banks returns with his third release in recent weeks, a single titled “Painted Houses” featuring Vado.

In his book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter50 Cent lamented over the outcome of his G-Unit rappers’ careers. Inside, the media mogul wrote that he’d hoped for Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo‘s successes to reach heights they couldn’t have imagined, but he shared why he claims they couldn’t seem to turn up the heat on their professional careers. During this time, Lloyd Banks has eased back into the spotlight by sharing a series of singles including “Huntin Season (Freestyle),” “Cold Summer (Freestyle),” and now his latest, “Painted Houses” featuring Vado.

Fans are hoping that these steady stream of releases is building up to a greater rollout, but until news of that comes, the public is left to just enjoy what Lloyd Banks delivers. Banks did share that he has an album in the works, but he hasn’t delivered any other information about the project. On “Painted Houses,” Banks once again gives hard bars solidifying his status in the rap game while spitting rhymes about what separates his lyricism from the masses. If this beat sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the same one from Griselda’s “Fire in the Booth” with Charlie Sloth. Check it out and let us know what you think of this third installment from Lloyd Banks featuring Vado.

Quotable Lyrics

I don’t expect peasants to recognize greatness
You used to weirdos
Future zeros
Where I’m from you make it out
You’re a superhero
Dropping sh*t like “The Irishman”
New and improved Dinero
