The Blueprint Group Management Company Still Lists Nicki Minaj As A Client

The “Chun-Li” spitter supposedly does not have a manager at the moment.

(AllHipHop News) The last twelve months have been a roller coaster for Nicki Minaj’s career. The Hip Hop superstar released her platinum-certified Queen LP and launched her Queen Radio show, but she also had to deal with highly-publicized feudscanceled tour dates, and accusations of online bullying.

It appears Nicki is looking to start her next album era with a new team. According to Variety, the leader of the Barbz parted ways with Co-CEO Gee Roberson and Co-CEO Cortez Bryant of The Blueprint Group/Maverick Management.

The split reportedly took place before Minaj joined Ariana Grande at the Coachella festival on April 14, and it was said to be “mutual and amicable.” However, as of press time, Minaj is still listed as a client on The Blueprint Group website.

AllHipHop.com contacted representatives of the Atlanta-based company as well as representatives of Nicki Minaj for comment. BPG/Maverick currently manages Lil Wayne, G-Eazy, The Roots, Rich The Kid, CyHi the Prynce, Belly, August Alsina, and others.

“We got Jay Critch, we have a Casanova album, and one of the greatest rappers/producers/songwriters Billy. It’s only going to be bigger. That’s all I can say. There’s some stuff we’re working on – from music to film to TV to tech,” Jean Nelson, The Blueprint Group President, told AllHipHop in February.

Nelson continued, “That’s why we call ourselves The Blueprint because what everybody’s doing now – and all respect to them – that’s what me and my partners been doing since our Kanye days. Now everybody’s catching up. That’s why we call ourselves The Blueprint because we really are.”
