The NFT market recently crashed, with sales dropping 92 percent earlier this week. People have been talking all about the crash on social media, and one of them is Rick Ross, who thinks he may have something to do with it.
On Thursday (May 5), Rick Ross took to his Instagram Story with a message for fans stating he had nothing to do with the NFT market crash due to his comments earlier this week about investors proving they’re making money in the cryptocurrency space.
“Man, I just woke up, and I heard the NFT market crashed 92 percent, I hope that wasn’t cause of my post, was it,” Rick Ross asked in the video. “Somebody from NFT call me and tell me the shit crashed on its own, and Rozay ain’t responsible.”
The Biggest Bawse’s comments about investing in NFTs probably had nothing to do with the dip in sales, but he did take shots at those buying into the metaverse.
“That’s the thing about the boss,” Ross said. “The metaverse, crypto y’all get so much money where you at? Where you at? Show us and I don’t mean I’m trying to show money, I got a lot of money I don’t even need that fake money but show my homies what the metaverse about.”
He continued, “One of y’all big boy, crypto dudes, guru, crypto ‘This what we going to do Rozay.’ Where y’all at?”
While he wonders where is all the money these investors are making off the metaverse, Rick Ross is getting closer and closer to kicking off his very first car show in Georgia on May 21. He’s been getting cars in his collection ready for the big event, including a tank with Louis Vuitton printed seats.
“@rickrosscarshow http://www.RICKROSSCARSHOW.com MY TANK HAS BEEN DELIVERED,” Ross wrote in the caption of his post. “THE TOYS BEGINNING TO ARRIVE!!!
