Many consider Michael Jackson one of the greatest artists of all time and someone people sought advice for. B2K’s Raz B is the latest artist to say he met Michael Jackson and the King of Pop gave him the best advice he could ever get.

Footage of Raz B’s claims made their way on social media Tuesday (January 11), and fans can see the singer talking to a group of people in Chicago, Illinois.

“Michael Jackson asked me before he died, he said, ‘Who owns the name B2K?’” Raz B said in the clip. “I was woke up at 3 am to go to Michael Jackson’s last video, “You Rock My World.”

 

Raz B continued to speak but was annoyed with everyone talking over him and laughing at what he just said. He felt he was being disrespected and warned someone he wouldn’t let anyone interrupt him again.

“Let me give y’all some game n-gga,” Raz B said aggressively. “Ain’t none of y’all got more money than me. None of y’all n-ggas. Real talk, thank you. That Millenium Tour, I created that. Me, I bought the trademark.”

The Millenium Tour has gone through its fair share of controversies with Raz B. The singer dropped out of the tour in 2019 over concerns with his safety.

“Raz-B is actually off the tour,” he said in a rant on Instagram. “I don’t feel safe because I feel like Chris Stokes is around. So guess what? I’m off the tour. Good luck to everybody.”

“No disrespect to [Omarion] because he’s my brother,” he continued. “[Omarion] if you come talk to me and want me to do this tour I’ll do this tour, but I’m officially off the tour, okay?”

Raz B ended up rejoining the tour with an Instagram Story appreciating his fans for the support they were giving him through that difficult time.

“I appreciate the outpouring of love, empathy, and understanding from my supporters. I look forward to continuing the Millennium Tour for our fans,” Raz wrote on his Instagram. “You all deserve it!”

Hip Hop can never shake the ongoing trend of unpaid royalties, and it looks like Nas is about to be in the middle of a battle with a legendary producer. According to a report from Page Six, Pete Rock is planning on suing Nas, who allegedly hasn’t paid him a dime for his contributions to the Queensbridge rap legend’s debut album Illmatic.

Pete Rock and his attorneys claim Nas signed a contract stating the producer would get a cut of the money made off the classic track “The World Is Yours.” The money owed is apparently in the millions, and although the attorneys reached out to Nas and his team, there was no response.

“Nas and his people have stonewalled me since 1994; My New Year’s resolution is to be compensated for my hard work on Illmatic,” Pete Rock told Page Six.

“The World Is Yours” was the only track to get a gold plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America. Pete Rock produced the record, has a songwriting credit and wants all the coin he can get off the song. Rappers such as Jay-Z, Eminem, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and the late Mac Miller have all sampled the record.

It’s unfortunate to hear Nas’ relationship with Pete Rock has been fractured. But while that friendship fizzled out, Nas’ friendship with Hit-Boy has strengthened tremendously. Their union has gotten to the point where Nas calls Hit-Boy his “Quincy Jones.”

“He’s like my Quincy [Jones], you know what I mean?” said Nas during an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden on Rap Life Radio in August. “So I feel like the next thing I do, if I was to work with Hit-Boy on the next thing I do, I think that we might do something that is going to be magical.”

LAS VEGAS, NV – Trey Songz is finally responding to one of his Las Vegas sexual assault allegations. Former UNLV baller Dylan Gonzalez accused the R&B star of raping her in a popular Las Vegas hotel room several years and came forward with her story to close out 2021.

According to TMZ, Trey’s reps relayed to them that he’s denying the rape claims and his legal team is confident exonerating information will come forward to the public eye in the next few weeks.

 

Gonzalez’s attorneys Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck put forth a joint statement to TMZ that explains their willingness to explore all legal avenues including filing a legal suit but didn’t mention anything in regards to a police report or criminal charges against Trey Songz.

The 27-year-old basketball player released a public statement of her own on Instagram where her comment section was turned off on Tuesday (January 11).

“With what seems like endlessly recurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well-known Las Vegas hotel,” she wrote.

“I want to send my love, strength, and hope to all who are victims of sexual assault and its fatal nature. You are not alone.”

 

Additionally, Trey Songz is facing two more sexual assault allegations. One woman says she was assaulted at Diddy’s New Year’s Eve party at the mogul’s home on Miami’s Star Island in January 2020 while another sexual assault claim stems from Las Vegas in November 2019 that allegedly took place at The Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Casanova was charged with attempted murder in his RICO case in November, but insists JAY-Z has already done enough to help him in life.

The Brooklyn rapper took to Twitter on Tuesday night (January 11) to tell fans to quit messaging him about getting support from Hov. JAY-Z signed Casanova to Roc Nation in 2016 after being introduced through Memphis Bleek, and has previously stepped in to help rappers in legal cases such as 21 Savage’s ICE arrest.

“Stop asking me what JAY-Z is doing for me,” he wrote. “He did enough already, he gave me a shot.”

 

Earlier in the day, Casanova shared some thoughts on Roddy Ricch’s hood affiliation, as well as Kodak Black and Jackboy’s issues.

“N-GGAS WANT @RoddyRicch to be in the hood so he can end up like me lol,” he wrote. “Man fuck that shit @RoddyRicch keep making that 20 million a year, it beats shooting the wrong video in the hood and shit go left. I hope that don’t go over your head.”

He continued, “IDK WHAT @KodakBlack1k AND @Jackboy DID TO EACHOTHER BUT I WISH THEY COULD SQUASH THINGS AND COME BACK TOGETHER..”

During a 2018 interview with Hot 97, Casanova talked about being in the company of JAY-Z and how he made him dress smart at the annual Roc Nation brunch.

“It’s like a dream to me and when he’s talking, I listen,” he said. “I don’t try to talk too much. I just be in la-la land. I be with all the big dudes and I just listen to them, eavesdrop and see what I can take, piece it together … If you love being loved, stay lit, stay relevant. I say that to say, you have to get a certain lit to be in a vicinity of greatness. So once you work for it and you’re there, you get to see why it’s so hard to get here.”

He added, “The funny thing he did say though, he said, ‘Yeah, [I’ll] put you in a suit this year. You saw the invite, right? No sweatsuits.’”

Kanye West‘s budding romance with Julia Fox has Kim Kardashian’s blessing.

According to TMZ‘s sources, Kim is cool with Kanye dating the Uncut Gems actress because Fox is a “fan” of the Kardashian family, making the prospect of co-parenting their four children — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm — a whole lot easier.

The 41-year-old reality TV star is said to be happy to see her soon-to-be-ex-husband smiling again and only wants the best for him having “fully moved on” from their nine-year-relationship. She believes the fact he’s dating someone who admires her can only be a good thing for everyone involved.

 

Julia Fox — who has an 11-month-old child of her own with her ex-husband, private pilot Peter Artemiey — revealed her obsession with Keeping Up With the Kardashians on her Forbidden Fruits podcast in December, calling herself a “die-hard, OG” fan of the long-running reality TV series.

“I’m gonna miss Keeping Up. [I’m a] die-hard, OG [fan],” she confessed. “I have been watching Keeping Up since it first came out in 2007 when, like, watching it was embarrassing … I wanted them to be my family. You feel like you know them. It’s like you’re happy for them when something good happens.”

Kanye West and Julia Fox have been inseparable since hooking up on New Year’s Day. The couple have enjoyed several romantic dates in Miami, New York City and Los Angeles, along with posing for a lustful photoshoot.

“I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection,” Fox revealed to Interview Magazine earlier this month. “His energy is so fun to be around … Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.”

Kanye — who was pleading for Kim to take him back until as recently as last month and has bought a house directly opposite her — even appears to be styling Julia Fox like his estranged wife.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian is enjoying a new boo of her own in 28-year-old comedian and actor Pete Davidson. The couple went public in November and have been spotted enjoying each others’ company while out and about, most recently during a vacation in the Bahamas.
