Beanz and Benny The Butcher collide for their new track, “As Seen On TV.”

Rhythm & Flow has already helped propel the career of a now Grammy-nominated artist but those that didn’t emerge victoriously are still keeping their hustle on. Beanz, specifically, was an underdog on the show that didn’t make it all the way until the finale. However, her latest string of releases has highlighted exactly what she was a fan favorite and the potential that she’s slowly coming into.

This week, Beanz barred up with Griselda’s Benny The Butcher for her latest release, “As Seen On TV.” Beanz puts a focal point on her lyricism on this but more importantly, she’s proving that she can craft a banger. Benny’s assistance on the track brings a much-needed dose of East Coast grittiness to the equation.

Check out the latest from Beanz below.

    Quotable Lyrics
Dope money easy but rap cash broke the lever
They never made cocaine dealings sound so clever
Who put a quarter block on a plate then turnt it to cheddar
Guess I’m good at putting a rock in its place like a diamond setter

Soulja Boy Grabs T.I. For New Single “Copy & Paste” Before Verzuz Battle

    Soulja Boy

    Soulja Boy

Soulja capitalizes off the Verzuz press.

Deep down, we all knew that Soulja Boy would not waste a perfect opportunity to promo some new music. As the influential rapper and producer makes his way to the Verzuz stage to battle Bow Wow, the self-proclaimed icon also dropped off some new music. Entitled “Copy & Paste,” the new single features T.I.

As the title suggests, “Copy & Paste,” is about rappers stealing Soulja Boy’s swag. T.I. even drops some clever bars about how he invented trap music. Both artists lay down what they brought to the game and how they influenced it. The instrumental is a knocker, and maybe would have been better reserved for a club track. Nonetheless, T.I. proceeds to murder his verse as if the song were his own. Check out the new single and let us know what you think.

    Quotable Lyrics
Okay, I just be minding my business (Uh-huh)
And niggas ain’t gon’ wan’ admit it (Uh-uh)
But trap music wouldn’t be in existence if I ain’t invent it (What?)
    You’re welcome, so silly
Poppin’ my shit, hope them fuck niggas hear me
    Y’all know it’s my city

H.E.R., Cordae, and Hit-Boy come through with the perfect collaboration on “Trauma.”

H.E.R. has been teasing her new album Back Of My Mind for a while now and with dope singles like “Come Through” and “Damage” already on streaming services, there was no denying the fact that fans were excited. On Friday, H.E.R. officially dropped the 21-track project and so far it is receiving rave reviews as the songstress delivers some incredibly personal lyrics all while coming through with exceptional vocal melodies and guitar playing. There are plenty of great tracks on this project, although “Trauma” with Cordae seems to be one of the immediate standouts.

The Hit-Boy produced track has dark and atmospheric production all while H.E.R.’s voice shines in the background. In the foreground of the song, we get an opening verse from Cordae who delivers a tight flow that fits the song perfectly. Meanwhile, H.E.R. sings about her trauma and the emotional baggage that comes with the pain she’s felt from her relationships. It’s a great track that will certainly leave an impression on you as you make your way through the tracklist.

    Quotable Lyrics:

    Think I need a drink
I just need to chill, maybe I need a shrink
Need to hear ’em preach, and some inner peace
I’m always in a mood, think I just need some sleep

IDK Drops Off Another One With “Peloton”

    2021 Clue No Clue

    2021 Clue No Clue

IDK tackles the conundrum of love and asks the tough questions on his melodic new single “Peloton.”

IDK has come through to deliver a new single “Peloton,” continuing his streak of impressive and stylistically diverse loosies. Though certainly capable of spitting bars when the occasion calls for it, IDK also knows when to pull back and reflect. “Peloton” is one such occasion, as IDK shares his side of a relationship saga, bearing his heart and showcasing some melodic chops on the confessional single.

Fielding advice from all corners — “My mama told me ‘Treat her like a lady’ / My ni*ga say ‘Treat her like a thot’” — IDK looks inward for a conclusion. He proceeds to channel 50 Cent on “21 Questions,” hitting his potential love interest with some true head-scratchers. “What if they call you a bitch and you look at me, And I say, “Trick, I am not your security”?” he asks. “Like, what would you think? Would you be in shock or not even blink?”

Check out the melodic new track from “IDK” now, and show some love in the comments below.

What if they call you a bitch and you look at me
