• Brandy Reveals Why She Won’t Go Out With Joe Budden

Budden recently stated that he has a bit of a crush on the singer.

He tried to shoot his shot, but Brandy dodged out of his way. Joe Budden was recently on his podcast speaking with Ray J, brother to singer Brandy, and mentioned that he may have had a bit of a crush on the B7 star. Budden playfully asked Ray J to put in a good word on his behalf and asked if the Moesha actress was single. Ray told hm that his sister wasn’t dating anyone, so Joe made it known that he was eager and willing.

Ray J added that Brandy “needs a nice, good, wholesome guy that’s gonna be honest.” Mal joked and said, “That’s not Joe.” Budden shut that down and replied, “Don’t do that. I just told you I love Brandy… I might need to pull up.” To say that Joe was excited as the prospect is an understatement.

Brandy recently caught up with L.A.’s Power 106 radio station and was asked about her thoughts on Joe Budden‘s proposal, and it doesn’t look good for the “Pump It Up” rapper. She didn’t say she wasn’t interested, but she won’t consider the possiblity because Budden is friends with Ray J.

“My brother’s homies are like my brothers, my friends. No,” said Brandy. Too bad for Joe. Check out Brandy on Power 106 below.

  • Pop Smoke & Lil Tjay’s “Mood Swings” Remix Dropping This Week

A remix to Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay’s “Mood Swings” will be dropping this week with a mystery feature.

The death of the late Pop Smoke remains one of the biggest tragedies of the year. At the age of 20-years-old, he showed a tremendous amount of potential to be one of the biggest artists to emerge out of New York City but within his short run, he made an impact. He wasn’t here to celebrate the release of his debut album but it still soundtracked the summer.

Among the many highlights off of Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon is Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay‘s “Mood Swings.” The song added to their hot streak as collaborators with songs like “Mannequin,” “War” and “Zoo York.” A fan favorite, Pop Smoke’s camp recently confirmed that a remix to the song would be dropping this week. A post on @shootforthestars shared the cover art for the remix which blanks out a surprise feature. It’s unclear who it might be but we’ll find out soon. The song is set to drop on Sept. 18th.

Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon has been doing huge numbers since its release. It’s maintained a steady spot within the top 10 on the Billboard 200. This week, it hit #2 on the Billboard 200, just below Big Sean‘s Detroit 2.

Who do you think is on the remix to Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay‘s “Mood Swings?” Sound off in the comments.

  • Kanye West Clarifies Apparent Issues With Hit-Boy

Kanye West responds after Hit-Boy said he stopped using his beats because he worked with Beyoncé.

It’s been an eventful few days in the world of Kanye West as he’s taken on the major label machines. Threats to never release music again, pissing on his Grammy, and posting his entire contract on his timeline barely scratches the surface of what’s been happening on his end. The rapper’s issues with the recording industry are far from new but his billionaire status is.

Hit-Boy took to Instagram after Kanye West called out the music industry, labeling them “modern-day slave ships.” Hit-Boy started off by explaining why things between him and Kanye have been awry in the first place. “I haven’t been a fan of Kanye on a personal/ human level since he told me face to face he stopped picking my beats because I worked with Beyoncé,” Hit-Boy said before revealing this was after he had produced several hits for WTT and Cruel Summer.

Kanye West scared a screenshot of Hit-Boy‘s post, along with a tweet reading, “From HITBOY LETS GOOOOOO.” Ye later explained his side of the story, kind of. “I DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HIM PRODUCING FOR BEYONCE… I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FACT HE SIGNED TO ME AND I DIDN’T KNOW BUT I KNEW JAY AND BEYONCE AND HIT-BOY… JUST FOR CLARITY.”

Not sure if anyone really left with clarity since many of the replies are trying to decipher the tweet itself. Either way, that’s Ye’s side of the story and clearly, he’s going to stick with it.

  • WESTSIDE GUNN SAYS HE SPOKE TO KANYE WEST AFTER DODGING TWITTER JAIL

Westside Gunn Says He Spoke To Kanye West After Dodging Twitter Jail

Westside Gunn is rocking with Kanye West, even if Twitter isn’t.

Amid Kanye’s latest batch of tweets, he shared Forbes Chief Content Officer’s Randall Lane’s contact information – which Twitter immediately put the breaks on by pausing his ability to post any further. Westside Gunn says he got in touch with Ye and confirmed the Jesus Is King rapper was definitely suspended, which he chocked up to a much larger conspiracy.

BIG SEAN VOLUNTEERS TO LET KANYE WEST SORT OUT HIS SONY/UNIVERSAL CONTRACT

“Just got off the phone with bro @kanyewest,” the Griselda rapper wrote. “there really stopping his Tweets SMH this shit has to STOP!!!!!!! only GOD can give u that kindve of strength to speak and they don’t like that shit.”

Kanye’s original tweet included a screenshot of Lane’s contact card along with, “If any of my fans want to call a white supremacist… This is the editor of Forbes.” CNN’s senior media reporter Oliver Darcy reported Ye will be unable to tweet until he removes the post, which Twitter has hidden from his timeline in the interim.

Along with sharing journalists’ phone numbers, Ye has also shared a video urinating on one of his 21 Grammy Awards, posted over 100 pages of his various business contracts with Universal Music Group/Sony and demanded a public apology from Drake and J. Cole.

He’s currently in the midst of trying to set up a meeting with both Cole and Drake, as well as Kendrick Lamar.
