Megan Thee Stallion Twerks On A Private Jet & Freestyles Over Biggie’s “Big Poppa”

The rapper is back on her grind after being sidelines following July’s shooting.

Fresh off of her MTV VMAs performance, Megan Thee Stallion has no time for rest. The Houston Hottie seems to be almost fully recovered from being shot in the foot a month and a half ago. She’s back to taking care of business and jet-setting with her team, and after sharing a freestyle that went viral recently, Megan Thee Stallion is back with another.

The Queen of the Hot Girls first shared a video of herself twerking for the camera right before she boarded a private jet. Her destination was unknown, but the rapper soon posted another video that showed her visiting Dallas’s K104 radio station. The host gave a quick introduction as the beat for Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 classic “Big Poppa” played overhead. Meg didn’t hesitate and jumped right into her freestyle, and as she continued, the DJ became increasingly impressed by the “WAP’ rapper’s rhymes.

Meanwhile, the public awaits more information regarding the shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. We’ve recently received Meg’s version of events and fans believe there are still details missing that only Tory can answer—that is if he chooses to do so. For now, check out Megan’s recent posts below and let us know what you think of her freestyle.

DMX Spits MC Lyte’s Bars After Running Into Rapper With Lil Mama

X proved that he is the ultimate fan of MC Lyte after he dropped bars to a song from her 1988 debut album.

What happens when a group of artists casually bump into one another? Someone starts dropping bars. DMX is currently working in the studio like a beast with Swizz Beatz after becoming inspired following his Verzuz with Snoop Dogg. Fans are excited to hear what he’s been cooking up in the kitchen and as a student of hip hop, DMX knows his way around a rap catalog. Lil Mama shared a video to show just how much knowledge DMX has of the classics after she shared a video of him stanning for rap legend MC Lyte.

In the clip, Lil Mama records MC Lyte in her car as X stands outside of the vehicle. DMX is speaking to MC Lyte when Lil Mama tells him to spit a few bars, so he goes on to pay homage to the rap icon. “I used to be in love with this guy named Sam / I don’t know why, cause he had the head like that of a clam / But you couldn’t tell me nothin, cause Sam was number one / Cause to me, oh my gosh, he was one in a million,” X rapped. The lyrics come from MC Lyte’s song “I Cram to Understand U” off of her 1988 debut studio album, Lyte as a Rock.

MC Lyte couldn’t help but have a wide smile on her face. Watch DMX give Lyte her roses below.

Juicy J Suggests Three 6 Mafia Should Do “Verzuz” With N.W.A.

The rapper-producer is still making his bid for his shot on “Verzuz.”

There has yet to be another artist who has publicly petitioned for a spot on Verzuz more than Juicy J. At the moment, we are knee-deep in Monica and Brandy‘s Verzuz, and with 1.2 million active viewers right now, it’s a must-see. We’ll update you on all the highlights from that in a bit, but we couldn’t help but notice that once again, Juicy J has asked for his shot on the popular web series.

Juicy J has previously stated that he wants all the Verzuz smoke and has challenged the likes of Nas and Dr. Dre. His declarations caused a social media storm and soon, J became a trending topic on Twitter as some people didn’t believe that he had the chops to stand against his aforementioned potential Verzuz foes. However, J is well-accomplished and reminded people, “I have an Oscar… I will battle anybody and win.

During Brandy and Monica’s set, J took to the comment section to call out another set of opponents. This time, he suggested that his group Three 6 Mafia get their chance at the Verzuz stage. Who against? None other than L.A.’s very own legendary rap group N.W.A. We’re interested in hearing how hip hop fans will respond to this one, so let us know if you think the two crews would bode well on Verzuz.

Toni Braxton Regrets Not Having More Sex: “I Should Have Partied More”

The singer added that growing up in a religious family kept her away from letting loose.

We’ve witnessed plenty of stars throughout the years take full advantage of their fame and wealth. Luxury vacations, wild clubs, and jumping from one relationship to the next. Toni Braxton seemed to stay away from that sort of controversy. The singer did make headlines for financial issues, health concerns, and music news, but she wasn’t as troublesome as other celebrities during her heyday. Reflecting on her career, Toni Braxton told The Guardian that she wishes she would have let loose a little more and mentioned that growing up religious may have played a factor.

“I regret not having more sex when I was younger. I should have drank more,” Toni Braxton said. “I should have partied more. Smoked more, even. I think my religious upbringing stopped me doing a lot of things that I should have done. It’s not a good look at the age I am now. The way it works is you do that stuff in your 20s and 30s and then in your 40s you’ve earned enough to pay for the therapy.”

People stormed social media to say that it’s never too late to get buck wild. We don’t think Toni is going to follow that advice since she and Birdman are reportedly still planning their long-awaited wedding.

Rolling Loud Partners With Twitch For Virtual Music Festival

Rolling Loud and Twitch have announced their first virtual festival Loud Stream, happening on September 12 and 13.

We won’t be able to watch Lil Uzi Vert stage-dive from the top of a building or Megan Thee Stallion snap over some crazy instrumentals in person but it looks like we’ll be partying virtually at Loud Stream, the first virtual festival from Rolling Loud and Twitch.

Announcing a major partnership today, Rolling Loud has revealed that they will be putting on a virtual festival next month on Twitch.

While this all sounds pretty confusing (how can you recreate the feel of a music festival through a screen???), Tariq Cherif, Matt Zingler, and the organizers of Loud Stream seem to have it all under control. The festival will be free of charge and will include live performances from some of the biggest stars in hip-hop right now. The lineup will be announced soon.

Loud Stream is the first of three Rolling Loud virtual events that will be held on Twitch.

Over five hours of live performances will be aired each day of the festival, which happens on September 12 and 13.

“Streaming on Twitch transports viewers into a live concert atmosphere and creates an experience for artists to interact with fans in ways only possible on Twitch,” said Will Farrell-Green, the head of music content at Twitch. “As in-person concerts are put on hold, we’re working to create an incredible backstage environment that fans can access from anywhere in the world. Rolling Loud has a powerful community of hip-hop fans, and we’re thrilled to partner with them for a first of its kind event that will bring their incredible live music brand to life.”

If you’re not into virtual festivals, you can buy tickets to Rolling Loud Portugal, which is still scheduled to be happening next summer.
