Snoh Aalegra releases her new single and video for “DYING 4 YOUR LOVE.”

One of the most celebrated artists today, Snoh Aalegra has officially returned with her new single and video for “DYING 4 YOUR LOVE.” The Stockholm, Sweden native recently signed to Roc Nation, giving her an even larger platform than before. With her sultry new song, Snoh showcases her personal growth while still rewinding to the past, sporting a flip phone in the music video.

The track speaks as though it were a diary entry for the 32-year-old singer, who continues to gain traction as one of the most popular artists in R&B.

In addition to the single’s release, Snoh is also dropping a limited merch line later today, of which half of the proceeds will go toward UNTIL FREEDOM, an intersectional social justice organization rooted in the leadership of diverse people of color to address systemic and racial injustice.

Listen to the new single below.

Quotable Lyrics:

So tell me how
How could you tell me that you love me by mistake?
Intoxicated, via texts, ain’t you ashamed?
That’s so wild
So how can I
Believe or trust in anything that you say
When you so easily regret it next day?
See, that ain’t right

Warren G Taps Ty Dolla $ign For “And You Know That” Single

Warren G

Warren G

Warren G and Ty Dolla $ign share a track that encompasses a Southern California vibe with “And You Know That.”

Old school meets new school on Warren G‘s latest single. The Long Beach emcee became a hip hop staple decades ago when he delivered his classic hits including “Regulate” featuring the late-great Nate Dogg and “This D.J.” The G-Funk Era rapper has never left the game and has continued touring, playing shows, and releasing music over the years, but it’s been about five years since he’s delivered a new project. While we wait for more information about whether or not an album is on the way, Warren G has collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign on his latest single “And You Know That.”

The song is reminiscent of those Southern California, Los Angeles vibes from back in the day. “New hot summer banger is about to hit you hard!” Warren G wrote in a caption to an Instagram post. “If you don’t know, now you know!” Stream “And You Know That” and let us know if you’re feeling this one from Warren G and Ty Dolla $ign.

YG Drops Summer Bop “Swag”

YG is back with another single, this time a with a summertime bop titled “Swag.”

Lately, it seems as if YG has been keeping a low profile during these months under quarantine. The Los Angeles rapper was recently spotted protesting in the City of Angels while filming the music video for his single “FTP.” While that move shook things up for folks who believed he was using the movement for profit, YG has continued his efforts in helping those in need all while speaking out against injustice. He returned with a new single, “Swag,” on Friday (July 10), and it wasn’t as politically-driven as some thought.

After sharing the cover art to “Swag,” which featured YG dressed up a la Colin Kaepernick while kneeling, some believed that the track may be a protest anthem. Instead, YG delivered a light-hearted beat with a repetitive chorus that leans more to a dance type single. The rapper dropped off an accompanying music video as well that looked to follow social distancing rules. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

I’m rich do the math (Yeah, yeah), aye
Hop in the whip, let’s ride out (Ride)
Big ass crib, it’s a hide out (Hide)
Yeah, I hit it for the clout (Hit it)
My d*ck, I don’t lie about (Hit it, hit it)
Hit it on designer couch (Hit it)
Too much swag, call a time out
