Ice Cube Calls Reporter’s Assault Accusation A “F*ckin Lie”

In 2015, Ice Cube was accused of ordering an assault on a rabbi. He denied the allegations, but a “The Daily Beast” reporter thinks otherwise.

He may be ruffling a few feathers with his latest stream of social media posts, but Ice Cube is out to defend his name. In an article he penned for The Daily Beast, reporter Marlow Stern accused the rap icon of having his team assault a rabbi. It was back in 2015 when Ice Cube was sued for $2 million over the alleged incident, but since the accusations surfaced, the rapper has always stated that he was innocent of the allegations against him.

“It is hard to give Ice Cube the benefit of the doubt given the fact that his anti-Semitic activities have extended beyond the realm of the internet,” Stern wrote in his article. “He’s an ardent supporter of Louis Farrakhan, one of the world’s most prominent anti-Semites, and, most troubling of all, the rapper and actor was accused in May 2015 of ordering his entourage to beat up a rabbi.”

Cube took to Twitter to call out Stern. “The statement by Marlow Stern is a f*ckin lie. I never ordered my security to beat up anybody. Get your facts straight or I’ll see you in court you asshole.” Then, the rapper shared a photo of the reporter and wrote, “This is Marlow Stern, the punk that’s out there pushing that poison.” Ice Cube then shared photos of cease and desist letters to Stern from his lawyers that also included a request for a retraction. “Don’t play with me. This is just phase one.” Check out his tweets below.

Juicy J Wants All The “Verzuz” Smoke With Dr. Dre

Would you tune in to see Juicy J go up against Dr. Dre?

Whether or not we’ll see Dr. Dre take to the Verzuz stage is debatable. The legendary rapper and producer tends to keep to himself away from the spotlight these days, but that doesn’t mean that he’s still not creating hits and working with some of our favorite artists. He’s helped to shape the careers of a number of artists and there are countless classics crafted by his brilliant musical mind. Over the last few months, Dr. Dre’s name has been tossed around during Verzuz conversations, and now Juicy J has entered the chat to say that he’s ready to go hit-for-hit against the Aftermath icon.

“I wanna do a Verzus battle wit Dr Dre no cappuccino,” Juicy J tweeted on Tuesday (June 30). The match-up was prompted a mixed reaction from fans who said that a battle between the two artists would be a sight. Not only does the Three 6 Mafia legend have a considerably extensive catalog as a member of the award-winning group and as a solo artist, but he’s also helped produce tracks for others like Future, Lil Wayne, WaleNicki Minaj, Desiigner, and many more.

Check out a few responses to Juicy J’s Verzuz request and let us know if you think these two are a fair match-up. If you don’t agree with this match-up, let us know who each of these artists/producers should go up against.
