The Atlanta rapper shared the tracklist for his new album Lil Boat 3 this week and, for many people, one of the stand-out tracks was the fourth on the page. “T.D.” is listed as a collaboration between Lil Yachty and Tierra Whack, including features from A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator. All three of the guests are rarely heard from, dropping in when they please and almost always leaving us star-struck. They did not let us down this time.

Lil Yachty starts off the freestyle-driven banger, which sees the Tokyo Drift instrumental being utilized to perfection. Once he clears the gate, A$AP Rocky jumps in and leaves room for IGOR Tyler, The Creator to drop bars. Then, Tierra Whack comes through with some memorable lines before Boat closes us out with another verse.

This feels like it was crafted in the studio with all of them trying to outclass one another. In fact, it’s a little bit like they were assigned a group project and, for once, everyone pulled their weight.
