Drake decided that 2020 is going to be his year and we don’t really have a say in that.

Last night, the king of Toronto announced his new surprise mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes, which features Playboi CartiFutureChris BrownYoung Thug, and more. The 14-track display is officially out and, along with it, Drake told the world that he would be dropping a new album this summer.

As if that weren’t enough, the 6ix God went on Instagram Live to preview a bunch more of his new music, including one song where he’s speaking French and another with viral hitmaker Roddy Ricch.

Drake is certainly having himself a year, keeping his fans on high notice as he could drop at any given moment. After delivering the new mixtape, the multi-platinum recording artist hopped on Live as everybody was digesting the new sounds to show us even more of what he’s cooking up.

In one of the previewed songs, the Toronto native speaks French in the hook. In another one, Roddy Ricch could be heard delivering his own signature melodies in a track that was previously hinted at a couple of months ago.

With an album on the way in the coming months, Drake certainly has the world’s attention. Are you ready?
