• COULD A KID CUDI X A$AP ROCKY JOINT TOUR BE ON THE WAY?

    We’ve been treated rather well lately when it comes to rap tours, with everyone from Big K.R.I.T.to Tyler, The Creator already planning to hit the road this year. However, it looks like another Hip-Hop roadshow may be on the way with two of our favorite MCs headlining: Kid Cudi and A$AP Rocky!

    Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but take a look at the tweet below that started all this talk of a potential joint tour:

    The Chosen One

    @KidCudi

    Id love that why not? Bring some people w me like @asvpxrocky and the fam

    @KidCudi would we see you do a world tour in the coming years.. revisiting places like Australia?

    Kid Cudi’s recent “Ask Me Anything” session on Twitter led to questions of if/when fans could expect a world tour, to which Cudi not only replied that he “loved” the idea but that Rocky would make a perfect tourmate. That’s when the TESTING rapper stepped in to agree:

    LORD FLACKO JODYE II

    @asvpxrocky

    FACT$!!! THIS IS A GOAL LET$ MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

    The Chosen One

    @KidCudi

    Basically solidifying the deal as done, Cudi chimes in one more time to make things crystal clear that he is 100% with the moves and sees it happening on a global scale:

    The Chosen One

    @KidCudi

    Lets get it bro!! Lets travel the fuckin globe together!

    Now, given that these two have collaborated on wax a few times in the past — Cudi appears on the “A$AP Forever REMIX”; Rocky is featured on the Indicud album cut “Brothers” — there’s more than enough reasoning for these two to hit the road together. From the handful of potential supporting acts to the sheer stage setup, this could be one for the books. Get on it, guys!

  • Trae Tha Truth Pays Homage On Tribute Track “Nipsey”

    Cover

    Trae Tha Truth remembers his former collaborator.

    Trae Tha Truth has proven himself to be a man of integrity, receiving the key to Houston after his tireless Hurricane relief efforts. Today, the hometown hero dropped off a heartfelt homage to the late Nipsey Hussle, with whom he collaborated on several occasions. Off the bat, the instrumental strikes a mournful note, with a melancholic synth-line and subtle piano chords. “They say God ain’t here for making mistakes, sit back and feel it out,” begins Trae, “lately I’ve been witnessing hell, can’t get it figured out, do it for the love of my n***as, that’s all I been about.”

    He proceeds to open up about his feelings of hopelessness, lamenting the unfair nature of Nipsey’s murder. Taken away by a coward, and for what? “Damn I never pictured you leaving, can’t stop the grieving,” he raps. “Every time I see your kids in my vision, you who they needing.” Though many have come forward with their own tributes to Neighborhood Nip, it’s hard to deny that Trae’s hits especially close to home. Expect nothing less from the one dubbed “The Truth.”

    Quotable Lyrics

    Damn I never pictured you leaving, can’t stop the grieving
    Every time I see your kids in my vision, you who they needing
    We had to show the world you was pure, others deceiving
    Now everybody saying it’s love, I’m not believing

  • Bizarre Shares Rare Throwback Picture Of Kanye West & D12

    Bizarre Comes To The Rescue After Interviewer Baits Sada Baby With Eminem Question

    Back in 2004, D12 & Kanye West welcomed the masses to “D12 World.”

    Kanye West has enjoyed an extensive and varied career as a producer, though some have forgotten one of his unlikeliest contributions. Back in 2004, Yeezy laced D12 with the titular track of their sophomore album D12 Worldmarking the first collaboration between Ye and the Dirty Dozen. Though the track was ultimately rather brief, it made for an interesting stylistic departure for the group, who traditionally stuck to instrumentals from their in-house team of EminemDr. Dre, and Mr. Porter. Yet Ye’s sample-based grooves blended quite nicely with D12’s zany lyricism, and “D12 World” aged rather nicely all things considered.

    Yesterday, Bizarre took a moment to share a throwback picture, presumably taken during song’s recording sessions. It should be noted that Eminem is not present in the picture, nor did he contribute to the song in question. Still, the picture finds Yeezy at the center, standing flanked by Big Proof (Rest In Peace), Kuniva, Kon Artis, Bizarre, and Swifty. In the comments, producer Salam Wreck chimed in with some insight, writing “I remember that night” and tagging Swift McVay; the presence of three crying-laughter emojis suggest debauchery ensued.

    While it’s unclear how D12 and Kanye West ultimately linked up in the first place, it’s possible that Royce Da 5’9″ played a role in facilitating the meeting. Kanye and the Detroit lyricist previously worked together a song called “Heartbeat,” though a premature leak ultimately drove a wedge between them. Of course, that’s only a theory; it’s equally possible that Ye admired what D12 was cooking up, and simply wanted a piece of the action. Shout out to Peter S. Bizarre for sharing one from the vaults.

    Snoop Dogg is one of the most entertaining men in the music industry. He continually finds ways to make us laugh and his music has proven to be timeless. As one of hip-hop’s living legends, Snoop has been associated with a number of different things. For instance, his name is basically synonymous with marijuana. If someone mentions Snoop Doggy Dogg, there’s a good chance weed will come up in the conversation. He’s also a well-known basketball fan, cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers and being very vocal about his love of the team. This year, the group struggled and ended up missing the playoffs even with LeBron James as their star forward. With so much drama happening behind the scenes, Snoop Dogg says that he would be willing to take on the role of President of Basketball Operations if it were offered to him. He already has ideas on who he would trade for too.

    Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show, Snoop Dogg promoted his upcoming album I Wanna Thank Me before speaking about his experience going to Game Three of the NBA Finals and his beloved Lakers. The team is considered the heavy favourites to land Anthony Davis in a tradebut it appears as though Kyle Kuzma is the piece holding back the trade. LA wants to hold on to the forward but the Pelicans are reportedly insisting on his inclusion. AD is one of the names included on Snoop’s shortlist of guys he wants on the Lakers, with a few others coming up in conversation.

    Jimmy Kimmel asked who Snoop Dogg would sign to the Lakers if he were in charge of the show and the first name that came to his mind was the reigning NBA Finals MVP. “Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis…” said the rapper before admitting that he’s reached out to players to recruit them to the team. R. Kelly and his ex-wife are reportedly spewing fast food insults.

    As you all know, R. Kelly is facing some serious time in prison for the crimes he allegedly committed. There have been a number of sex tapes that were uncovered showing the singer allegedly engaging in sexual acts with underage girls, urinating on them and more. On top of that, he’s been attending court dates regarding his child support payments, of which he owes thousands of dollars. Yesterday, his ex-wife Drea Kelly suggested that in order to support his kids, he should get a job at a fast food restaurant making tacos. That comment didn’t fare well with the disgraced artist because according to TMZ, he’s reportedly clapping back by saying she should get her own fast food job.

    Speaking directly with TMZ Live, Drea Kelly and her daughter Buku Abi said that R. Kelly should get his finances figured out before throwing a jab at him. “I don’t care if you’re gonna become the first King of R&B to work at Del Taco,” said Drea. Buku added that she doesn’t “need” his money but that it’s his responsibility to pay up until she turns 23. After the comments were aired, representatives for R. Kelly reportedly reached out to TMZ to suggest that Drea get her own job at a fast food joint flipping burgers. He apparently believes that she has been using the child support money to fund her own lifestyle, saying that if she wants to continue living large, she should get her own job.

    Kelly’s lawyer Steve Greenberg has reportedly gone on the record to say that Drea Kelly should “get a life.” Watch Drea and Buku’s comments below.
