2 Chainz placed an early bid for album of the year contender with his latest project, Rap Or Go To The League. Many are considering the album his best project to date. He enlisted a slew of unique collaborators such as Kendrick Lamar and Ariana Grande, who he worked on the song “Rule The World” with. Taking to Instagram, the rapper gave fans an exclusive look at the upcoming visual. After Ariana Grande ripped off 2 Chainz aesthetic for the “7 Rings” single, the two linked up for the visuals for “Rule The World” off of Chainz’ album. The visual finds Chainz draped up in an all-white attire at a luxurious basement party with Ariana. The song serves as their second collaboration as Ariana recruited 2 Chainz for the “7 Rings (Remix)” to do some damage control after being accused of biting other rapper’s flow.

2 Chainz previously explained how he got Ariana Grande on his album prior to its release. It all happened after he called her out for the aesthetic in the “7 Rings” video which was clearly taken from Chainz’ pink trap house. After they met, they ended up working on “Rule The World” and the “7 Rings” remix.

“It was just one of those things where I didn’t even know you were a fan of mine, and we built a rapport. And I obviously did the- she did a song for me first, actually, while I was there. And she opened up her mouth and a damn angel came out and I was like, “Yo, this little girl can sing!” And then I obviously did the remix for them while I was there. And she just was super excited about trying to put it out, clear the space or whatever,” he explained.
