The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame honoree is planning the release of new music. Her collaboration with Daddy Yankee, “Made For Now” dropped in August 2018 and a new album is expected this year. Jackson, who already has 11 LPs under her belt, is a force of nature with a kind soul. “Tonight I feel moved to speak for women whose voices have been stifled,” she said during her Global Icon award acceptance speech at the MTV European Music Awards. “I am one of those women. Tyga Calls Out Soulja Boy In Blueface “Thotiana” Freestyle
Tyga had something to get off his chest in his new “Thotiana” freestyle.

Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images
Soulja Boy has been adamant that he schooled Tyga last year, claiming the biggest comeback title on more than a few occasions. The “Crank That” rapper recently got pretty disrespectful, tweeting out that he played Fortnite with Tyga’s kid and had sex with his baby mama. Obviously, Tyga wasn’t just going to let that slide, choosing to spit some heat over Blueface’s “Thotiana” beat in his official response to Soulja.
“7 million records, 9 months, where’s Soulja at?” asks T-Raw before continuing. “Running ’round saying that you made me, why you say that?” In his freestyle, he references Amber Rose, A$AP Rocky, AE, and more. With so many people rapping over “Thotiana,” where does Tyga’s version rank on your list?

Michael Jackson Accuser Tried To Anonymously Auction Off Memorabilia: Report
Wade Robson tried to pawn off the late singer’s memorabilia in 2011.
Jackson’s estate, who recently filed a $100M lawsuit against HBO for airing the documentary, believe this is more evidence that proves that Robson is not a true victim and that he’s only in it for money.
Cardi B Announces “Please Me” Video Drops Friday
Cardi B says “Please Me” video is dropping Friday.
Just a couple weeks removed from the release of Cardi B & Bruno Mars’ new single “Please Me,” the two are ready to share its official music video. On Monday night, the Invasion Of Privacy rapper took to her IG to announce that she’s dropping the video this Friday. “PLEASE ME MUSIC VIDEO WILL BE OUT FRIDAY !!,” she wrote as her caption.
To coincide with the announcement, Cardi teased a photo of her face on a horchata carton, which is a reference to the song’s lyric in which Cardi compares her genitals to the Latin American milk/drink. “Your pussy basura (Basura)/ My pussy horchata,” she raps on the song. Unfortunately, there’s no visual teaser so we’re not entirely sure what expect, but we’ll know in a few days.
This announcement comes just hours after Cardi revealed that the single, “Please Me,” landed at the #5 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this opening week. However, something tells me it’s not done moving up the charts.
Peep the video announcement (below) and check back Friday to see the full thing. Stream the song right here.
Meek Mill Jumps In Kourtney Kardashian’s Comments: “Ass Phat In The Second Pic”
Meek Mill shooting his shot?
It looks like Meek Mill was trying to shoot his shot at Kourtney Kardashian, or he was just letting her know he liked what he saw anyways. On Monday night, Kourtney shared a couple of pics on IG of her, Khloe, & Kendall posing for the camera in some shiny, see-through body dresses. One of the pics finds Kourtney with her back to us, showing off her voluptuous ass with Khloe & Kendall’s hands on it, which also happened to have caught the attention of Meek Mill in the process.
Meek jumped in Kourtney’s comments Monday night, and told her, “Ass Phat in the second pic,” which he’s absolutely right about. However, who knows if he was just keeping it a buck or was lowkey trying to shoot his shot, but it’s a pretty bold move either way.
Kourtney has recently been rumored to fashion icon Luka Sabbat & even David Duron, both of which have been put to rest though. Coincidentally, she ran into her ex, Younes Bendjima, last week at a local coffee shop in LA, but sources insist she’s still single single.
Check out Meek’s comment (below) and let us know how you take it? You think Meek is seriously shooting his shot or just giving a friendly compliment.

R. Kelly’s Lawyer To Press: “He’s A Rock Star, Doesn’t Have Nonconsensual Sex”
R. Kelly’s attorney gets into it with a Chicago-based cultural critic.
At this point, Greenberg singles DeRogatis out by questioning his objectivity – suggesting the writer’s upcoming book on the R. Kelly case, past and present, is the reason to believe he’s part of the opposition party.
“I don’t give a fuck about selling a single book,” DeRogatis fired back. “I’ve talked to that woman, and I’ve talked to 47 others. I’m not Mr. [Michael] Avenatti and I’m not you.”
Greenberg eventually alleviated the tension by skipping ahead in the discussion. He later reiterated that R. Kelly was a “Rock Star” to quote the 2007 Kellz hit, his point being: “Rock Stars” don’t have a need for “nonconsensual sex,” – riddle me that.
Anderson .Paak’s “ABC World Tour” Bridges All The Necessary Gaps
Buoyed by his Grammy Win, Anderson .Paak brings Joy and community to NYC.

Paras Griffin/Getty Images
When opener Tayla Parx took the stage, extensive line delays meant that she was performing for a sparsely-filled room, with many people still trying to find their seats. Only her earliest fans crowded the stage, or gave her any appreciable recognition, as she performed songs from her forthcoming album We Need To Talk. One wonders if the yearning, catchy single “Me vs Us” would have been given the attention it deserved had the room been informed that Parx has writing credits on Ariana Grande’s “thank you, next” (and sang right beside her when Grande performed the song on Ellen) and Anderson .Paak’s “Tints”.
For her part, Tayla Parx hasn’t learned to capture an entire stage, to seize the room. She still takes cautious steps, anchored to an invisible territory circumscribing her microphone stand, like she might become swallowed by the vast expanse of Hammerstein Ballroom if she ventures too far. Regardless, her impressive solo work and collaborations promise future opportunities to grow her performances and fanbase; and as for tonight, Anderson .Paak, ever the communitarian, brought her out in the final songs of his performance to introduce her to anyone who may have missed her set.
Paras Griffin/Getty Images
In a frank admission of Tayla Parx’s still-dim star power, her brief performance was relegated to an opening for an opening, and for a far lesser artist. Funkmaster Flex, hip-hop’s cantankerous old guard, took the stage to satisfy the crowd’s demand for pre-show bangers. Like his more combative counterpart, Charlamagne Tha God, and their offspring, Joe Budden, Funk Flex has remained a fixture of the culture by becoming a tell-it-like-it-is patriarch, delivering punditry with such crisp cadence, confidence, and an unassailable ethos derived from his proximity to hip-hop’s golden age. He presents opinions with such seemingly airtight logic that, despite being on the losing end of so many beefs, he finds his way onto the bill for every big act passing through New York.
The grand irony of this status is how acutely overlooked he is by the youngest generation (and largest demographic) of concert goers. Some people in the audience may have recognized him from the Knockdown Center, where he left the stage before Juice Wrld’s performance in frustration over the subdued response to his set; more likely they see him as just another DJ shuffling radio hits. Flex’s moment of most genuine connection with the crowd came near its end when he asked us, “How many people here are under 25?”, to which the venue burst into cheers. Was this question just a survey to help decide what to play next? Genuine curiosity? An existential crisis as he faced his own diminished popularity?
With the stage cleared for Anderson .Paak, calm and solidarity fell over the crowd again. People mingled, people crossed social groups. We were impatient, but not grumpy. A joint tossed into a trashcan kindled a small fire, but rather than create panic, the few people who dealt with the ordeal grew closer— just what .Paak would want. At last when the man arrived, we were ready and not ready, expectant and surprised.
Anderson .Paak detonated with a drum solo, alone behind a thin screen that glowed fiery, primeval red and projected his shadow in a dozen locations across its surface. The man was everywhere, playing every sound— a potent visual symbol of his multi-instrumental virtuosity. It was almost easy not to notice, preoccupied with the artillery-blare of percussion and bass vibrating up your throat, that this was the song “The Chase” off of his recent album Oxnard. Anderson .Paak, the once homeless, struggling father, doesn’t hide how proud he is of his newfound fame, the validation of a Grammy win; and the early parts of his set reflected this. He couldn’t withhold “Bubblin”, the single that netted him a Grammy for Best Rap Performance, for longer than five minutes into his set. It’s a song about celebrating success, and the song that brought him even more success, so why keep it to himself? He was extending an invitation for all of us to celebrate along with him.
Paras Griffin/Getty Images
The concert became a joyous journey through some of the happiest tracks of .Paak’s career, spanning his early work as part of NxWorries; his debut album, Venice; and up to Oxnard. Incidentally, his most joyous moments are also the biggest crowd-pleasers. When .Paak performed “Milk N Honey” and “Heart Don’t Stand a Chance”, he frequently turned his microphone on the audience to sing the lyrics in his place— and they never missed a line. Images of California palm trees, open skies, and planetary disks streamed on the screen behind him, periodically replaced with Anderson .Paak’s big, grinning face. These good feelings culminated in a daring stage dive during a rendition of “Saviers Road”. It was a clever rejoinder to the song’s line “I’m too old to act childishly”. But this was the night to act childishly, if childish means happy to be alive. There were no melancholic hits like “The Bird” or “The Seasons/Carry Me”: there was once a time for mourning and there may well be more time for it in the future, but not tonight. Tonight is for all the little dreamers.
The most impressive aspect of the performance, along with Anderson .Paak’s virtuosity and unbending voice, was how fluidly he managed to change modes. His music occupies so many colors, from the intensity and immediacy of hip-hop to the burning longing of soul and funk, and yet at no point did the set seem scattered. There was never a misstep in switching from a slow, swaying funk beat, into a song like “At Least I know”, Anderson’s obscure collaboration with T.I. Much of the credit for this fluidity is owed to The Free Nationals, Anderson .Paak’s touring band and his frequent collaborators. Their value was not lost on Anderson, who took a moment to introduce each band member, shout them out in several songs, and even stepped aside so they could play their own single, “Beauty and Essex”, a collaboration with Daniel Caesar.
Scott Legato/Getty Images
This concert was such that even retrospect doesn’t offer a clear high point. The jubilation that Anderson .Paak introduced from the first moments expanded and spread unabated through the vast concert hall, even as he stopped performing to banter with the crowd or rearrange the stage for a new song. And even as confetti exploded over the ballroom, there was a sense that the concert was only going to get better from there— and it did. The high points came in the little moments when you looked around and realized how blessed you were to be sharing the room with Anderson .Paak, and for him, came when he realized how blessed he was to have this crowd.
At one moment, prompted by nothing particularly poignant, Anderson .Paak stopped mid-singing and said simply, “Wow”. At another moment he again stopped in the middle of his set and just said, “Beautiful”. Maybe it was that the stage lights had just passed over the ethereal, ornate painting across the ceiling of the Hammerstein Ballroom, and Anderson .Paak was looking back on how far he had come, or maybe it was just the happiness, the community in the room.
When I recall the final song of the night, the latter explanation makes the most sense. Anderson .Paak closed with a touching tribute to his friend Mac Miller. “One time for Mac”, he said, before performing their collaboration, “Dang!”, a photo of him and Mac overlayed on the screen. In another room, on another night, it would have been as somber as it was moving. Instead, this memoriam was just as joyous as the two hours that preceded it, his performance as if to say to Mac Miller not “I’m sorry you’re gone”, but, “Thank you for having been here”.
And after the song, the crowd walked slowly out to the streets, some saying exactly those words out loud, and everyone else thinking some version of it and sending their thoughts out to him, saying, “Thank you, Anderson .Paak, for being here tonight.”

Precious Harris was a real one.
He addressed his loved one directly in a previous post: “Still Loving you from this life to the next sis… We’re all better in some way because of your life. Now it’s on to bigger and better things for you. We’ll be just fine…Because of YOU! You’re Truly More than a woman to me sis. Love you.”

Lupe Fiasco Gives Credit To Mos Def Song For His Clean Water Initiative
“New World Water” laid the foundation for Lupe’s awareness of the water crisis.
“I was in high school and I remember just getting Black On Both Sides, and that record was super pivotal for me because I was still practicing Islam, or at least trying to, to a certain degree. Mos is top 10 incredible emcee and he is able to put a really good album together. So that record, I lived with forever,” he began. “That and Nas’ It Was Written were two albums that were like, this is what a rap album should sound like. It should have all these different kinds of things on it. He had the club record, the love record, the rap record, and then he had kind of the informational records, and that was the ‘New World Water’ and ‘Mathematics.’”
“‘New World Water‘ stood out because it was focused on this one subject, which I did not know too much about at that time. I was 17, 18, and it was so different from anything you hear on another rap album. It’s water, but he went through all of it: politically, environmentally, socially, chemically,” Lupe Explained. “I think it’s one of those things that only a rapper could do, or only a poet could do: take this subject and hit it in all these different areas and components. It just kind of got bookmarked in my mind: water is an issue, water’s a problem, water’s a right.”
Gunna’s NY Launch Of “Drip Or Drown 2” Begins With A Scary Stampede
Gunna’s NY launch of “Drip or Drown 2” begins in chaos.
After ensuring that none of his fans were trampled under foot, Gunna jumped on Twitter in the wake of the listening/performance to laud the fanaticism on display. “This is What happen at my NY Experience,” he wrote on Instagram, after completing his ceremonial duties. “I LOVE my DIEHARD #DOD2 Soon soon.”
A rep who spoke with Page Six in the aftermath of the event, confirming that no one was hurt during the gate-crashing incident. “No one was hurt, thank goodness. By the time that happened, we were three songs in, and we weren’t letting anyone in, but a fan managed to find a way and so did other people,” confirmed Gunna’s reps.
According to the incident report filed shortly thereafter, illustrates the sudden impact of the gate-crashing incident, as 20 individuals plowed right over security before the uniformed personnel restored order in the joint.
Ja Rule Calls Fyre Festival’s Blowjob Watergate A “Very Crazy Situation”
He shakes his head at the ordeal.
The failed event followed by its scandal became a lesson for Ja Rule. “For any young visionary or entrepreneur just be hands-on with your stuff, if it’s your baby and you want to create something amazing for the world to see, make sure you see it through, make sure you are the one overseeing everything, make sure you are the CEO of the company, even if you are not an experienced CEO,” the 42-year-old said.
“You know it is okay to make some mistakes along the way and that’s what I learned the most, I am not an experienced CEO and I didn’t want to make the mistakes but obviously, the CEO (Billy McFarland) of the company made the biggest mistake of them all. So I learned a lot from the situation and I am just looking forward to the next thing.”
R. Kelly’s Mugshot Revealed, Arraignment Scheduled In Sexual Abuse Case
R. Kelly is already heading to court.

Scott Olson/Getty Images
Video evidence of Kelly’s alleged abuse of a victim was announced earlier this month by Michael Avenatti. He gave the tape to the State’s attorney’s office, hoping that it would prompt a whole new case against the R&B icon. “This tape leaves no question as to whether R. Kelly is guilty of multiple sexual, illegal acts against a 14-year-old girl,” he told reporters Friday, describing Foxx’s investigation as “very thorough … dedicated and methodical.”
A grand jury convened in virtual secrecy following the reception of the tape. Kelly’s attorney said he was not informed of this meeting and revealed that he is unaware of the videotape’s contents.
R. Kelly Won’t Survive Charges, Alleged Victims Lawyer Michael Avenatti Claims
Michael Avenatti says he’d be shocked if R. Kelly walks away.

Avenatti was the one who handed over the tapes of R. Kelly allegedly having sex with an underage girl last week to prosecutors. The investigation into the tapes was a driving force that led to Kellz charges. Avenatti, who has two daughters, said that he’s been quietly working on the case for about 10 months.
“I’m not charging anything for the work that I’ve done because this is an outrageous case and it’s an outrageous abuse of power, targeting some of the most vulnerable people in our society,” Avenatti said. “Mainly young African American girls, many of whom are from the inner city. And I’ve been very moved by it because I have two daughters on my own, 14 and 16, and as a father and listening to some of these parents describe what has transpired and some of these victims, I was outraged by it.”
Avenatti continued to say that there’s a significant amount of evidence against R. Kelly that he’s confident will lead to the singer’s conviction.
“I’m very satisfied today as a father, as a lawyer, as a guy that believes in right and wrong and justice, that the day of reckoning has come for R. Kelly. He will, he will not survive this,” he said. “The evidence is significant. It is insurmountable and I’d be very surprised if after he is convicted, if he ever walks another day free for as long as he lives, and frankly that would be justice in this case because this guy is a predator who is preyed on, again, some of the most vulnerable individuals in our society and he deserves to go away for a very long time.”

Rihanna Spotted Out With Billionaire Boyfriend Hassan Jameel
Rihanna was spotted with billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel the other night at the Lakers game.
Rihanna decided to celebrate her 31st birthday the other night by watching LeBron James at the Staples Center as the Los Angeles Lakers took on James Harden & the Houston Rockets. However, she didn’t go alone as she was spotted back with billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel who was by her side.
Instead of sitting front row and courtside, the two cheered LeBron on from a private suite with some of Rihanna’s closest friends. RiRi rocked a home LeBron James jersey, while Hassan sat alongside her in a black baseball cap and could be seen smiling while Rihanna passionately cheered on the Lakers.
We tend to forget that Rihanna is still dating Hassan because they’re so rarely seen together. In fact, the last time we saw the two together was back in December when they were spotted at a Malibu restaurant, and prior to that was last year’s Grammy’s after party. So it’s clear Hassan like to stay under the radar, but he apparently made an exception for Rihanna’s b-day.
Check out a few pics of the two at the game (below).

Offset Reveals That Fatherhood Was “Tough At First”
The rapper covers “Haute Living” and shared what it was like being a teen father.
The rapper also covers the latest issue of Haute Living and chats with the magazine about what life has been like since becoming a teen father. “I had my first child at 17, so the journey of fatherhood was kind of tough for me at first,” Offset said. “I was trying to find myself. I didn’t have much direction on what it meant to be a father. I definitely made some mistakes, but I have no regrets. It’s challenging when you have a career like this and you’re constantly on the road. It makes it tough to see your kids, especially when they’re young.”
“Now that I’m older, though, I’m learning my way. Us fathers sometimes don’t always take the best routes,” Offset said about his journey as a dad. “My children are everything to me. And now that they’re getting older, I get to bring them around with me on the road much more, which is amazing. Whenever I get a few days, I bring them with me because I need to spend that time with them.”

Offset Reveals Why He Doesn’t Like Cardi B Calling Him By His Real Name
Offset goes undercover on the Internet and reveals a few gems.

Emma McIntyre/Getty Images
Offset is the latest artist to go undercover on the Internet. The rapper fielded questions about his money, jewelry, new music and of course, Cardi B. One Twitter user asked if Cardi calls Offset by his rap name in real life, saying that if she did, it would be “weird af.”
“You know what? She calls me Offset all the time. You know what’s weird? When she calls me Kiari. ‘Cause when she calls me Kiara, the temperature is like… ya know what I’m sayin’? Just not a good moment when she calls me my real name,” he said. “But yeah, she call me Offset, for sure. It’s not weird to me, I rather you call me Offset.”
Offset also revealed why he and the rest of the Migos weren’t fans of SNL’s skit with Childish Gambino.
“We didn’t like that skit because it was, like, total opposite of the Migos,” he said. “And then I felt like it was interpreted like we was some dodo birds. Like, making us go against each other… I didn’t really feel that. We weren’t really feeling it.”

Offset Joined By Cardi B, J. Cole & Travis Scott At “Father Of 4” Listening Party
Offset celebrated his solo debut with a giant game of dress-up.
Watch as Offset entered the ballroom with his wife Cardi B close by his side, with gate crushers who weren’t rocking the requisite red given the boot. Cardi B’s diamond ensembled matched the pieces worn by her hubby, on the eve of his solo emancipation. They weren’t alone in ringing in Set’s new dawn, as Travis Scott, 21 Savage, J. Cole, Gucci Mane, and Quavo were all pictured in the study, as well.
The event was largely reserved for Offset’s hand-selected guests, whereas a limited number of places were made available via Eventbrite the day of the project’s uncloaking. As you can see, QC spared no expense in making Offset’s party one for the ages. They even helped the Migos rapper produce a lifesize art installation by the back entrance, depicting the lime green Dodge Challenger he dinged up in a near-fatal car accident in 2018. Offset and his closest of kin would then flee the ballroom for an after-party at OAK, just as FATHER OF 4 was being submitted to streaming services, once and for all.
R. Kelly’s Latest Accuser Testified Before Grand Jury With Physical Evidence
Both of R.Kelly’s latest accusers testified in court; one provided damning evidence.

Michael Loccisano/Getty Images
According to TMZ, one of the two accusers even provided physical evidence when she stood before the grand jury. The very same sources have provided a loose “time and date” for the incident, somewhere between 2008 and 2010. The very nature of the material evidence hasn’t been disclosed. The second woman who testified corroborated many of details that were rehashed on Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly, albeit with much less in the way of damning evidence (than her predecessor).
Another high-powered attorney named Michael Avenatti is the legal muscle behind the recent unearthing of yet another R.Kelly sex tape, which is essentially the raison d’être for the Cook County commission coming into fruition. The sex tape in question allegedly depicts R. Kelly committing a sexual act with a 14-year-old girl. So far, R. Kelly’s legal team has responded to the claims, by feigning ignorance over the grand jury assembly, perhaps in an attempt to evade the issue until the ostensible “point of no return,” if it ever comes to that.
Anderson .Paak Teases Unreleased “Album” With Dr. Dre

Stepping behind the skins to hold it down, .Paak truly makes it look easy, simultaneously rapping and drumming. For those who lean on backing tracks as a crutch of sorts, allow .Paak to be your guide. After killing the stage, .Paak slid through for a quick chat with Fallon, where be proceeded to drop a few jewels. Clearly basking in his own upward mobility, Anderson opens up about his creatively rewarding, yet occasionally arduous recording sessions with Dr. Dre.
“Both of us are perfectionists so it’s really frustrating sometimes,” says Anderson. When Jimmy asks if they ever butt heads, .Paak gives a firm yes. “His head is bigger than mine too. He’s bigger, so it’s like, alright Dre, sounds good to me! We have the same tastes…I made a lot of music with Dr. Dre, probably two albums worth. It’s music I really feel like getting out. Oxnard is a beautiful place I got a lot of grit, I was doing a lot of rapping…I got a lot more soul music to present.”
Offset “Father Of 4” Album: Fans React To Migos Rapper’s Solo Debut
So far, so good for Offset’s new album.

Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images
The work begins with an apology from Set to his four children. The rapper reaches deep into his heart to say sorry for not being there all the time for his babies. From his first child, who he had at age 17, to Kulture, Father Of 4 starts off on the right note. It continues on an introspective path before reaching a few low spots, picking back up around “North Star.”
So far, fans have been pleasantly impressed on social media, enjoying the tone of the album upon first listen. Of course, that’s a generalized statement but from what we make of it, this is easily the best-received of the three Migos solo albums. Only time will tell if it holds up in the long run. Check out a few of the top reactions below.

Pump was initially supposed to go on a “Harverd Dropout” tour in support of the album, but unfortunately that was cancelled a few months back. It’s unclear if he plans on making it up and hitting the road this year or not, but at least we have some new music to hold us over with for the time being.
Available now on iTunes, fans can stream the long awaited project in its entirety (below). Take a listen and let us know what you think!
Rihanna Shows Off Her LeBron James Obsession At Lakers Game
Rihanna’s love for LeBron James runs deep.
Perhaps the singer was even a good luck charm for James and the team as they defeated the Houston Rockets by a score of 111-106. LeBron had 29 points and was the leading scorer on the Lakers.
During the game, Riri was actually presented with her own “Badgalriri” jersey with the number one on the back. Now that she has her own custom Lakers swag, maybe we’ll see her lusting after LeBron even more now.
As for the Lakers, well, they are still 2.5 games out of a playoff spot but a win against a playoff team like the Rockets is probably a confidence booster moving forward.

Today marks the album’s twentieth birthday, and as a result, Em and his team have given the project a slight update. While the idea of bonus tracks may be intriguing to some, Em fans have likely already heard the two big adds – “Get You Mad,” and the Dr. Dre assisted, Wild Wild West themed “Bad Guys Always Die.” The remaining bonus cuts are instrumentals and acapellas, which, while a fun addition, aren’t the game changer some might have hoped for. It might have been nice to see some Slim Shady EP cuts hit streaming, but for now, we shall take what we can get.
Bonus Tracks:
Hazardous Youth (A Cappella Version)
Get You Mad
Greg (A Cappella Version)
Bad Guys Always Die (from Wild Wild West Soundtrack)
Guilty Conscience (Radio Version)
Guilty Conscience (Instrumental)
Guilty Conscience (A Cappella, Edited)
French Montana Hits A Three-Point Shot At Lakers And Rockets Game
French got buckets.
The rapper got to watch the game alongside some pretty famous company. To his right was Sal from record label XO, while actor Denzel Washington was to his left. When it comes to the Lakers, you never know which famous person you’re going to come across and run into. Even Rihanna was at the game, although she was in a private box, wearing a LeBron jersey.
Considering the Lakers won, we’re sure French had a pretty good time. The three-point shot was just icing on the cake.
2019 BRIT Awards: Drake, Jorja Smith & Ariana Grande Walk Away Big Winners
Drake levied his Canadian citizenship to snag a 2019 BRIT Award.
Here’s the list of nominees, and winners as selected by the BRIT Awards’ committee, save for Sam Fender’s hand-picked selection for 2019’s Critics’ Choice award. Elsewhere on the ledger, Jorja Smith walked away with the Solo Female Artist award, covering the great lengths of the United Kingdom. Oddly enough, it was Pink, herself an American, who stole away with one of three dignitary awards, her for “Outstanding Contributions to Music” – read ’em and weep.

Floyd Mayweather’s Daughter Professes Her Love For NBA YoungBoy
Iyanna Mayweather and NBA YoungBoy look to be official.
They’ve been spotted together on a few separate occasions but things appear to have reached a new level because Iyanna updated her Instagram page with a photo of them both, confessing that she loves him. YoungBoy better treat her well because there are a few different outcomes to this situation. If he winds up sticking with her for the long haul, he’s basically guaranteed to be rich for the rest of his life. After all, Floyd’s nickname is “Money.” On the downside, if he messes up with Iyanna, you better believe he’s about to catch some of the hardest punches in the world.
Iyanna posted a shot of the couple on her page, writing, “I love you” with a heart emoji. Their fans have mixed emotions about the whole thing. There are those that are ignoring YoungBoy’s shotty past, believing that they’re a match made in heaven. Others are scared for Iyanna. YoungBoy has been honest about having sexually transmitted diseases in the past and he already has five kids. Do you think they’ll last?
Miley Cyrus Says Her New Music Will Have Hip-Hop Elements
Get ready for some “hip-hop-leaning records” from Miley.

Miley has previously been called out for cultural appropriation, especially on her 2013 tape, Bangerz.
“I think we’re so influenced by the people that we’re around,” she explained on the topic of that specific album.
“And my community when I was working on Bangerz—Future actually wrote on ‘Love Money Party.’ Those are the people in my life that I was really around and in the studio with. Future is fucking amazing and has a lot of wisdom, too. Just listening to him and Mike Will, who was going to call his first record Made It from the Basement—the way they grew up was obviously so different from the way I grew up.”
Quavo Teases “Black-ish” Guest-Starring Role
This is yet another television role for the rapper.
Quavo shared a photo of himself on the Black-ish set with the caption “B L A C K • I S H Coming Soon!!,” but fans will have to wait a little while longer if they want to get more details than that. There have been plenty of rappers who have turned into successful actors including 50 Cent, Ice Cube, Ice-T, Queen Latifah, Bow Wow, Andre 3000, Will Smith, Mos Def, Tupac, and more. Do you think Quavo is on his way to an illustrious acting career?
The Game Wows A$AP Rocky & A$AP Ferg With “Born To Rap”
The Game’s “Born To Rap” recording session continues to bring out the heavy-hitters.
“My A$AP n***as slid thru last night & I pressed play,” writes Game. “By the look on Ferg face, we got another CLASSIC.” While it’s not entirely clear whether Game put down vocals with the A$AP rappers or merely chopped it up, the caption seems to suggest a listening session of sorts. It’s easy to infer that Rocky and Ferg were mere spectators in this scenario, taking in Game’s project as fans first.
Yet the optimists among us can hold out hope for additional vocals, even if they come in a limited capacity. In any case, Game’s Born To Rap sessions continue to act as a gathering place for dope emcees and producers. Hopefully the rapper will yield more concrete information about the album in the days to come.

Kanye West Dyes His Hair Every Single Color Of The Rainbow
Kanye West tries out a new look.

Dominik Bindl/Getty Images
On his way to the Yeezy office, paparazzi photographers managed to snap a few photos of the multi-platinum recording artist with a new hairstyle. This time, he transitioned to a full-on rainbow look, dyeing his locks in a variety of colors. It likely took a while to pull this off given how many tones are present. The back of his head starts with purple before gradually turning green, yellow, blue and more. If you look at him from the front, pink is the predominant shade on his head.
Fans have already started to joke about the new look with one Instagram commenter kidding that it was styled by Stevie Wonder. Personally, I find it cool that Kanye continues to find new ways to express himself. He’s turned his hair into sort of a painting over the last few months, using the canvas to try out a few different colors to match his mood.

Soulja Boy is fresh off the release of his song “On Gang” which features some fresh faces such as OMB Bloodbath, Peso Peso, Sauce Brazy, Yung Saint Louis, and Murdah Baby. Earlier today, he revealed that he has some big names that will be featured on his next project. Among them are some of his old collaborators as well as some new ones.
“I can’t wait to my album drop. Tory Lanez. Swae lee. Triple Redd. Bhad Bhabie. ASAP Ferg. Asian doll. Smooky margeila, chief Keef, money man, Nicki Minaj, Ronny j, Murda Beatz. Wow,” he wrote on Twitter.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like he landed the Tyga feature Murda Beatz suggested Soulja Boy get for the album.
Soulja Boy’s album, How Could You Blame Me? is set to drop on July 28th. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
Cardi B Gifts Baby Kulture With A Diamond-Studded Baby Bracelet
Baby Kulture is laced up with bling and isn’t even a year old yet.
Last week Cardi shared a video of her husband Offset and Kulture, teasing that now their little one is now saying both “mama” and “papa.” No other way to celebrate these hip hop family milestones than with the drip.
R. Kelly’s Lawyer Compares Him To Beethoven & John Lennon
R. Kelly’s attorney is unhappy that the singer has to move out of his studio.
“Thru the years, history has admired creativity,” wrote Steve Greenberg. “Beethoven worked and wrote during the night. So did Freud, Tolstoy, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edison, Elon Musk, and Churchill, amongst thousands of others.” Greenberg went on to note that John Lennon used to spend 24 hours a day in bed while recording. One thing that’s missing from his remarks: those people have not been accused of sexually assaulting countless minors.
The message is closed with a note that R. Kelly will continue to work on his upcoming album elsewhere. What do you think of his statement?
