Dipset’s “Diplomatic Ties” Documentary Is Finally Here
“Diplomatic Ties” is available exclusively on Tidal.
Over the course of Diplomatic Ties, each and every prominent Dipset member (excluding the UK faction and the Jimmy’s Purple City offshoot) talk about their origin story, as it pertains to the group’s collective identity. (We) “tried to do it a few different times,” admitted Cam’ron in a December meeting with Kathy Landoli of Billboard’s digital magazine.
“We were somewhere else earlier and Jim alluded to it that we’ve all known Tuma [Basa] for years and years and years and he kind of put it all together and got everybody back in a good space. We did the (Hammerstein Ballroom) show and then from the show—I believe it was in February—we just been continuing to work since then,” Cam’ron continued on.
Let me flesh that out a little; Tuma Basa is a creative director for YouTube Music who consulted on the project. The Hammerstein Ballroom show was the reunion where the original Dipset members were reordained (until the next hiccup), whereas this longwinded timeline that Cam’ron speaks of was particularly excruciating for the common Dipset short on new material. Charge up that Tidalsubscription if you are so inclined. The streaming platform remains the only place to view the Doc, as of this writing.
Amy Winehouse Hologram Tour Cancelled Due To “Unique Challenges & Sensitives”
Amy’s holographic tour has been pushed to a further, unknown date.
“Therefore we are putting the tour on hold until we determine the best path to a creatively spectacular production that would properly honor Amy’s legacy at its highest honor.”

We’re unsure as to what the exact challenges are, but in the meantime, fans will have to relive her live performance through videos online. Amy died on July 23rd, 2011 at the age of 27 after publically battling an alcohol and drug addiction.
Amy’s former husband Blake Fielder-Civil, previously slammed the hologram tour, upset by the way the singer’s family want to continue her legacy.
“The idea that it’s anything like Amy is kind of misleading. It’s old footage. It can’t be anything new. It’s not going to have the same interactions as Amy had. It’s not going to be the same,” he said, adding: “The actual hologram, to me, it’s no different than watching a video clip, maybe, or listening to her album. If anyone wants to see Amy onstage, that opportunity has been gone.”
R. Kelly’s Sexual Misconduct Scandal: 2 New Accusers Step Forward
R. Kelly is dealt another blow as he wards off public opinion.
In other R. Kelly-related news, a grand jury has been assembled to investigate a sex tape which allegedly shows the singer engaging in sexual acts with what is believed to be a 14-year-old girl. The damning evidence was presented to Cook County’s State Attorney’s Office by attorney Michael Avenatti. It’s still unclear whether the new accusers are in any way involved with Avenatti’s prosecution efforts in Chicago.

Baby Kulture is laced up with bling and isn’t even a year old yet.

R. Kelly’s Lawyer Compares Him To Beethoven & John Lennon
R. Kelly’s attorney is unhappy that the singer has to move out of his studio.
“Thru the years, history has admired creativity,” wrote Steve Greenberg. “Beethoven worked and wrote during the night. So did Freud, Tolstoy, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edison, Elon Musk, and Churchill, amongst thousands of others.” Greenberg went on to note that John Lennon used to spend 24 hours a day in bed while recording. One thing that’s missing from his remarks: those people have not been accused of sexually assaulting countless minors.
The message is closed with a note that R. Kelly will continue to work on his upcoming album elsewhere. What do you think of his statement?
