Desiigner Disses Kanye West On Remix Of Blueface’s “Thotiana”

Desiigner has the girls “going crazy like Kanye.”

Blueface struck gold when he released “Thotiana.” Initially, the song did not receive a major amount of traction. However, as his name began to grow, the song did too, eventually finding its way pretty high up on the Billboard charts. Blueface is looking set to be the next big rap sensation from Los Angeles and as he continues his rise, Desiigner is looking to re-establish himself as a force to be reckoned with.

The New York vocalist has not been very active in the musical stratosphere as of late, releasing a few singles in the last few months but keeping his album shelved for the time being. He seemingly has some big issues with Kanye West and the rest of G.O.O.D. Music after his career didn’t receive the push he was anticipating. At the beginning of this month, Desiigner called his boss “crazy” and said that he revived the label. That statement is obviously debatable but it’s something that the “Panda” rapper believes deep down in his heart. He echoed the same sentiment in his new “Thotiana” remix, uttering the “crazy” accusation again.

Desiigner Kicks Off Comeback SZN With “Earned iiT!”

Desiigner comes through with a melodic offering for the masses.

Desiigner‘s “comeback tour” appears to be well underway. We’ve already seen the young rapper express frustration at his current predicament, labeling Kanye West “crazy,” and taking responsibility for the revival of G.O.O.D Music. Yet the barbs lack any sting when Kanye proudly dubbed himself “crazy” on The Life Of Pablo’s “Feedback.” In any case, that didn’t stop Desiigner from doubling down on his recent “Thotiana Remix,” which signals his energy toward Mr. West has yet to alter.

Now, the “Timmy Turner” rapper has dropped off another new track, this one called “Earned iiT!” While his other offering found him hopping on the Blueface wave, this one finds him exploring an original sound, tapping TrackSmith for the instrumental. Lyrically, Desiigner doesn’t appear to be pushing any new boundaries, though he certainly remains capable at dropping off melodies. Overall, it’s unlikely that “Earned iiT” will win over any new fans, but for those keeping score, let’s call this one a step in the right direction.
