RIP DOOM! Check out “Mando Calrissian” off of Czarface and MF DOOM’s collab project, “Super What?”

The iconic duo that is Czarface, consisting of Inspectah Deck, 7L & Estoric, have continuously brought us new projects since 2013 including several collaborative efforts. In 2018, they released Czarface Meets Metal Face alongside the late MF DOOM that became an instant cult classic. A body of work among some of underground hip-hop’s most revered MCs drew demand for a sequel which has been in the works for a while.

On Friday, Czarface shared Super What?, their second collaborative effort with MF Doom that was expected to drop prior to the pandemic last year. Sci-Fi references are scattered throughout the project like on “Mando Calrissian,” an ode to Star Wars that opens up with a reference to Mandalorian. Deck, Historic, and DOOM drop bars drawing parallels between street activity and the world of CZARFORCE over spacey production.

    Check the track out below.

    Quotable Lyrics
Y’all use keys, I use a pen to make a van go
Y’all new low, selling fifty dollar features
My new low, white and blue to match my sneakers
I get loose, word on my name like Shih-Tzus

TeaMarr and DUCKWRTH display a ton of chemistry on their sexual new single, “Specific.”

In today’s day and age, communication is more important than ever before. When it comes to the bedroom, this is especially the case and on TeaMarr’s latest track “Specific,” that is exactly what she is addressing. After numerous issues with past lovers, TeaMarr is fully opening up about what she wants, and to help her do so, she has also enlisted the likes of DUCKWRTH who always gets poetic with his bars.

The track has a smooth r&b feel to it all while TeaMarr delivers sexually explicit lyrics about everything she wants in the bedroom. DUCKWRTH echoes these sentiments in what proves to be an impassioned duet between the two. It’s a track that speaks on something many could learn from, and it all comes together in a track that will be featured on plenty of sex playlists this year.

    Quotable Lyrics:

Can I give it to you like a little bit rough?
If you smoking on me, then boy, hog it, just puff, puff
Are you lying on me when you say you eat ass? (Hmm)
Don’t you dare get me lifted, the front and back, back

Del The Funkee Homosapian joins Czarface and MF DOOM on “Super What?!”

It was in 2018 when Czarface and MF DOOM connected for Czarface Meets Metal Face. DOOM has always been extremely collaborative throughout his career, despite how reclusive he comes across. Ghostface even told us in a recent interview that his collaborative effort with DOOM happened through the late rapper and producer sending him beats without actually being in the same room.

DOOM’s death left many reflecting on his vast catalog over the years. On Friday, we received the first batch of posthumous verses from DOOM for his second collaborative effort with Czarface for Super What?! At 10 tracks in length, Czarface and DOOM enlist Del The Funkee Homosapien for a highlight off of the project titled, “Jason & The Czargonauts.”

Check that song out below and peep the whole project here.

    Quotable Lyrics
Irrelevant to tag if the swag is past-tense
And karma swing backwards and drag, you can’t flinch
A thrill you deserve to feel if your ass is that dense
Like how you like them apples, confined to tin shackles

  • Dreamville Teases New Releases After J. Cole’s “The Off-Season”

The label teased more releases to come following J. Cole dropping his next major release.

Last week, J. Cole officially announced his next major follow-up to 2018’s KOD. Shortly after announcing The Off-Season‘s May 14th release date, he began the rollout with the single “interlude.”  “Just know this was years in the making,” he wrote of the album on Twitter while sharing the cover art. “My new album The Off-Season available everywhere 5/14.”

It seems like more artists on the Dreamville roster are planning to unleash more musical content for fans this year after J. ColeAri Lennox has been previewing new music to fans on social media since last fall, so the Vice President of Marketing for Dreamville recently teasing more musical releases from the label soon come.

The Dreamville Marketing VP confirmed that new music from Bas, JID, EarthGangCozz, Lute, and Omen will be coming soon. Labels often never publically tease new music themselves. Considering this, it’s likely music from others in the crew will begin rolling out following head honcho J. Cole‘s release.

“Told myself I would drop the album all at once,” wrote Cole on Twitter shortly before releasing the first single from his upcoming project. “Sometimes you gotta say fuck it tho. New song tonight. 12 o’clock. “i n t e r l u d e” from The Off-Season.”

Let us know which Dreamville release you’re most excited about.

  • Trey Songz Accused Of Injuring Woman In Hit-And-Run Incident

The recording artist is accused of injuring a woman’s hand with his vehicle and speeding off.

Things have not been looking too bright for Trey Songz in the legal department as of late. On one hand, the recording artist learned late last month that he would not be charged in connection to his viral arrest at a Chiefs game. Earlier this week, however, it was reported that Songz was being sued for an alleged assault on a venue’s bar staff.

Continuing the legal trouble, the 36-year-old was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run incident. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources responded to a situation involving Songz and a woman who claims the singer hit her car, injuring her hand before speeding off.

Law enforcement sources tell the publication that the singer and an unnamed woman got into an argument while they were each in their respective cars shortly after midnight on Thursday (May 6). The argument is said to have escalated and the woman reported to officers that Trey bumped his car into hers at one point.

She then got out to confront him, and the woman claims that’s when Songz sped off and hit her hand with his vehicle. She called officers, but they report that when she arrived Trey was long gone. Cops reported it as a hit-and-run.

According to sources, the woman reported hand pain but didn’t seek further medical attention. Right now, it’s unclear why they were arguing, but there is no indication of a prior relationship between them.

A source close to Trey’s team says the allegations are completely false. We’ll keep you updated on any follow-ups of the alleged hit-and-run incident. As mentioned, he recently got off the hook for his altercation with a cop during a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game.
